Chantai, this lovely mom of 3, brought her warmth and kind personality with her to the shoot. Time flew by so quickly and we got so many great shots that I had a hard time picking the best ones out. P.S her hair is amazing.
Here is the before & after’s and her take on our session. I hope that I have the chance to shoot her again.

You look at Magalie and she exudes the French Flare. She’s an accomplished actor, director and acrobat, and I loved how easily she was able to move from one look to another. A joy to photograph her!

Headshots vs. portraits. What is the difference?
Headshots are generally created from head to bust, a very tight & close up photograph of a single person.
The main purpose of creating headshots are to be used for company’s website, social media sites, business cards or some type of advertising, whether that is print or online media.
Photogens Studios creates headshots both in studio and at Corporate or Companies location. Often time these photographs are created on white or black backgrounds or specific company color to create a cohesive look with the business branding.
Portraits are very different as it is created for sentimental values, it is usually attached to feelings or special events at a given time in a person or persons life. Portraits are also meant to be created for One or a Group of people, such as an individual, a couple, family.
Portraits allows for creativity and are meant to be printed in albums, folio books, or fine art gallery prints that can be displayed and cherished for many years to come.
